You captured Norma perfectly. She was a wonderful women and it is your pictures (especially the close up) that I will remember when I think of her. It was great meeting you - hope our paths cross again before too long.

Thank you, Doug. I was honored to participate at the service. It was a wonderful and touching service for a wonderful lady. She touched a lot of lives. I will miss her, as will countless others. Best regards, Doug

Your talent
Doug, I have been looking at your pictures for 2 years now. Yes, they are technically very good but more than that; they evoke emotion. True art always contains these elements. You never fail to paint me a picture that tells me how you felt about the subject as you lifted that magic black box of yours! Thank you for sharing yourself so openly with all of us...your fans!

Dillon & Carson's Fishing Trip
Hi "Uncle Doug" - I would like to thank-you so much for taking my grandsons on such a wonderful adventure. Being Lane's Mom (the boys Dad), it warmed my heart to see his little boys having such a glorious day. Your photo's of this trip are truly awesome! It's so nice to see good quality photos. I love to take photos too, but often I am not satisfied with my results. So I really appreciate seeing these beautiful photos. Thanks Doug for being such a supportive "Uncle" to this great family in their journey with Dillon's recovery. Hugs- Nellie Montpellier

Hi, Nellie, The day was special; in fact, just as special as this family is to you and all of us. It was my honor and privilege to have been there with the boys. And, we will do it again! My best to you and Paul. Best regards, Uncle Doug

Hay Doug; Nice fish. Looks like you guys had a great time. Who's the guy in the funny hat? I'm dodging iceburgs in the Chukchi Sea right now but will give you a call when I get back. Thanks. Take care; Doug Klak

Hi, Dougie, The guy in the "funny hat" is Captain Pete, our guide for the day through West Winds Flyshop. He was a great fellow, knows the river, and great with the kids. I just have one or two words of advice: keep dodging the iceburgs. This is the first time I have received a visitor from the Chukchi Sea! Holler when you are back. Best regards, Doug

Cure for Homesickness
Nothing like some shots of the praries, baseball and snow to take the homesickness away. Miss all those things in this waterlogged rugby loving country. Hope all is well and winter was good.

Great to hear from you, Apryl! The crew finished the winter program yesterday, should be in town Saturday. Jacquie is doing great; we sure made the right choice! You keep well, young lady, and stay in touch.
